Nástroj pro upozornění na změny balíků

Nástroj apt-listchanges umí porovnat novou verzi balíčku s tou aktuálně nainstalovanou a zobrazit co se změnilo. To je zajištěno získáním důležitých informací ze souboru změn (changelog) Debianu a souborů NEWS.

Program je možno spustit na více .deb archivech najednou a získat tak seznam všech změn, které budou provedeny při instalaci či aktualizaci skupiny balíčků. Pokud program nastavíte jako modul pro APT, bude to provádět automaticky během aktualizačního procesu.
