Konverterer DOS <-> Unix-tekstfiler, alias tofromdos

DOS-tekstfiler har traditionelt CR/LF-par (carriage return/line feed) som deres afgrænsning for nye linjer mens Unix-tekstfiler traditionelt har LF'er (line feeds) som afslutning på hver linje.

Tofrodos består af et program »fromdos« alias »todos«, som konverterer tekstfiler til og fra disse formater. Brug »fromdos« til at konvertere DOS- tekstfiler til Unix-formatet og »todos« til at konvertere Unix-tekstfiler til DOS-formatet.
